SSC Calendar 2026 Released: Here is some good news for SSC Aspirants. The Staff Selection Commission has announced its official calendar for the upcoming 2026-27 exam sessions. It’s a major relief for candidates who dream of Central government jobs.
This is a tentative calendar that states the recruitment notifications, the exam months and the last date to apply. The major examinations include:

Since the new exam calendar has been released, the SSC Aspirants can plan their study schedule, preparation tips and tricks. SSC conducts these exams annually to select candidates for government posts. The vacancies are released across ministries, government departments and organisations under the Indian Government. | ASO Grade LDCE | The recruitment notification is expected to be in the month of March, 16th 2026. The exam will be conducted tentatively in August-September 2026. The last date to apply is 7th April 2026. |
| Combined Hindi translators | The recruitment notification is expected to be in the month of April 2026. The exam will be conducted tentatively in August-September 2026. The last date to apply is May 2026. |
| Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs | The recruitment notification is expected to be in the month of May 2026. The exam will be conducted tentatively in October-November 2026. The last date to apply is June 2026. |
| Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF | The recruitment notification is expected to be in September 2026. The exam will be conducted tentatively in January-March 2027. The last date to apply is October 2026. |
| JSA/LDC Grade LDCE (DoPT) | The recruitment notification is expected to be on March 16, 2026. The exam will be conducted tentatively in May 2026. The last date to apply is April 7th 2026. |
| SSA/UDC Grade LDCE (DoPT) | The recruitment notification is expected to be on March 16, 2026. The exam will be conducted tentatively in May 2026. The last date to apply is April 7th 2026. |
| SSC MTS and Havaldar | The recruitment notification is expected to be in June 2026. The exam will be conducted tentatively in the months of September-November 2026. The last date to apply is July 2026. |
Important recruitment examinations such as the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) and Junior Engineer (JE) tests are scheduled to be held from May to June 2026, while the Selection Post (Phase-XIV) examination will be held from May to July 2026.
