CAT 2025 Exam Analysis: The Common Admission Test 2025 (CAT 2025) was successfully conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) on November 30, 2025, at 339 test centres spread across 170 cities in India. The test was conducted in three slots. The first slot began at 8:30 am and ended at 10:30 am.
The second slot began at 12:30 pm, and the third slot began at 3:30 pm and ended at 5:30 pm. According to the conducting body's report, out of 2.95 lakh registered, eligible candidates, approximately 2.58 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The overall attendance was approximately 86 percent. There was no change in the CAT 2025 exam pattern with 68 questions.

Initial CAT aspirants feedback from the exam centre indicates that the CAT 2025 Slot 1 examination was "manageable yet somewhat more challenging" compared to last year's Slot 1. This year's test consists 66 questions spanning Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA). As per the marking criteria, candidates will get three marks for every correct answer, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer, and there will be no marks for questions left unanswered.
