The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer-based test designed for admission to graduate management programmes. The Common Admission test is highly competitive and it consists of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. CAT test is conducted in three sessions and online mode over a period of three hours.
India's top business schools, the Indian Institutes of
Management (IIMs), developed the CAT entrance exam to choose candidates
for their PGDM, PGPM, MBA and other management programs. CAT Exam is conducted annually by one of the
Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as per the rotational policy.
