Education Ministers of India from 1947 to 2024: The literacy rate in India has increased from 12% at the time of independence to 75% in recent years. In India, the education system has improved since the time of independence, and this change is due to the great dedication and commitment of our leaders who worked hard to bring about a change in the level of education. First Education Minister of India:
The first Education Minister of India was Maulana Abul Kalam
Azad, and he served as the Education Minister of independent India from 1947 to
1958. His contributions to establishing India’s education system are celebrated
annually on November 11 as National Education Day, marking his birth
anniversary and honoring his pivotal role in shaping the nation’s educational
landscape.
