The B P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences is a prestigious medical institute in Dharan district of Nepal. The Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala, the first elected prime minister of Nepal played a key role in establishment of this health science institute. Important Note for MBBS Admission in Nepal:

+ Medical Education Commission (MEC) conducts entrance exams for students who want to get admission in government medical colleges in Nepal.

+ Private medical colleges in Nepal have direct admission based on their NEET/SAT 1 scores. In Nepal, only the current year scores will be considered for admission by MEC.

+ The tuition fees mentioned above are declared by the Nepal government. However, the final decision for the entire package like fees, hostel, mess and other charges lies between the student and the college.

+ This first installment of tuition fees has to be deposited after getting selected through MEC, Nepal.

+ It is mandatory to fill the MEC application form by paying Rs.5000/- for further processing of admission in any government/private medical college in Nepal.

+ A single entrance exam conducted by the Medical Education Commission (MEC), Nepal.
